Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
As a small business owner with a one-to-one practice, Stephanie reserves your appointment time especially for you. Adequate notice allows her the opportunity to offer that time to another patient who may be waiting for care.
If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice for all acupuncture appointments. You may reach Stephanie by text, email, or voicemail at 914-228-7829 or hello@sgacupuncture.com.
Appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full cost of the scheduled service.
No-shows will automatically be charged the full cost of the scheduled service to the card on file.
Thank you for understanding and respecting the time reserved for your care.

Lateness Policy
If you’re running late, please text 914-228-7829 as soon as possible, and Stephanie will do her best to accommodate you.
If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment may need to be rescheduled and the full cost of the scheduled service will apply. Depending on the length of the delay and the nature of your treatment, Stephanie may be able to provide an abridged session within your remaining appointment time.
Whether an abridged treatment is appropriate will be determined on a case-by-case basis to ensure there is sufficient time to provide safe, effective care.

For your convenience Stephanie accepts payment via cash, credit + debit cards and Zelle, as well as Health Savings Account (HSA) / Flexible Spending Account (FSA) cards.
Payment in-full is required at the time of service. A credit card number is required to book, but you can pay by any method at the time of your appointment.

Stephanie is not currently in-network with any insurance plans. However, many insurance plans offer out-of-network benefits that may provide reimbursement for acupuncture treatments.
If your plan includes out-of-network acupuncture benefits, Stephanie is happy to provide you with a superbill containing the appropriate medical and treatment codes, which you can submit directly to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
Coverage and reimbursement vary by plan, so we recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your out-of-network acupuncture benefits.
Acupuncture is considered a covered expense for flexible healthcare spending accounts including FSAs and HSAs.
